Primary school

Kids against tobacco smoke (KATS) has an interactive zone with e-cards and a virtual shop from which you can send friends tobacco facts. Also has a good games section. Best section for projects is probably "The facts"

The British Heart Foundation have a site specially for children called cBHF where you can 'ask Prof' and submit jokes.

Secondary school

Anti Tobacco Youth Campaign has factsheets on a good range of subjects
Tobacco Free Kids links to factsheets on global tobacco control, smuggling, advertising etc
Tobacco smoking and cancer: the evidence is an excellent Cancer Research UK resource which includes useful numbered references under "How we know"
If you want to illustrate your project see the "Puke page" for gross pictures of diseases caused by smoking. Also see "Extreme makeover" ... or the notobacco.org gallery
World Health Organisation Tobacco Initiative information on the most often used and widely spread tobacco industry myths about smoking bans, and the arguments – based on scientific evidence – to counter them
The tobacco atlas: shows how tobacco is not just a simple health issue, but involves economics, big business, politics, trade, litigation, deceit and crimes such as smuggling
The World Bank publication "Curbing the Epidemic" has sections on global trends, risks and tobacco control

Stop smoking websites for young people

Mind, Body and Soul (14 - 16yr olds ) a cool, interactive site with lots of information
Quit because - check out the hand puppet film! Also has a forum and an excellent "I want to stop" section
The website of a teenage health freak (teenagers) good question and answer section.
KILLER FACT: "Of every 1000 people in your school, 1 will be murdered, 6 will be killed on the roads and 250 will die from smoking.... (read more)"
Anti Tobacco Youth Campaign has a really scary bit which lets you upload your own photo and then see the effects of smoking (yuk!)
Signal One Smokebusters has a members only section with competitions, games and downloads.
British Heart Foundation’s "Stop Smoking" microsite includes e-mail support, blogging, messaging and an online smoking costs calculator and they have two interactive sites called cBHF (for under 11s) and Yheart (for over 11s)
The National Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) is the UK’s national guarantee scheme for proof-of-age cards and also provides information on age-restricted products
Fags ’n hash: information for young people about tobacco and cannabis use.
