This survey complements the previous research conducted by MVA for ASH Scotland and HEBS, Smoking in Public Places - A survey of the Scottish leisure industry.
While the previous research surveyed 1000 leisure oriented businesses across Scotland concerning their tobacco policies and perceptions of smoking in relation to their businesses, this survey explores the views of their customers in relation to tobacco policies.
Both surveys were undertaken to give baseline information, with the intention of repeating them in 2002/3 to assess changes in perceptions and opinions.
