This group is composed of representatives from cessation services and specialist projects that specialise in providing a service to pregnant women and their families. Such specialisation has been found to be useful in addressing the particular needs and concerns of pregnant and nursing mothers and the group aims to provide a forum for exchange of information and good practice and to monitor policy development in relation to this key cessation target group.
Two chairs currently support this group at present: Anne Finnie, Specialist Midwife with NHS Lothian and Pamela Galloway, Smoking Cessation Midwife with NHS Fife.
Minutes of group meetings are held in the pass-worded members' area.
