Smoking rates - children

SALSUS Research

The Scottish Schools Adolescent Lifestyle and Substance Use Survey (SALSUS) allows a broad based approach to the monitoring of substance use among secondary school children in Scotland. The survey was undertaken in the autumn school term in 2008 by Ipsos MORI, commissioned by ISD Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Government.

This section of our site provides access to the key statistics on smoking from the 2008 SALSUS survey.
