SALSUS Research
The Scottish Schools Adolescent Lifestyle and Substance Use Survey (SALSUS) has been established by the Scottish Executive to allow a broad based approach to the monitoring of substance use among secondary school children in Scotland. The survey was undertaken in the Autumn school term in 2006 by BMRB Social Research, commissioned by ISD Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Executive.
This section of our site provides access to the key statistics on smoking from the 2006 SALSUS survey.
