Youth development

The Crofton Award 2010

Emma Cepok is the Youth Development Officer.   A major part of this role is to develop and disseminate good practice and support activities in smoking cessation and prevention work. This is achieved by working in partnership with a wide range of organisations and service providers who have a remit for young people's health and well being. Emma takes the lead in many of ASH Scotland's activities and projects in relation to young people and tobacco issues and works closely with the Alliances Manager to support the development of the STCA Youth and Tobacco Forum and the Local Alliances Officer to support those working towards local tobaco control action plans on youth prevention and cessation.

This post continues to support the development and implementation of national policy.
