Youth development

Emma Cepok took up the post as the Youth Development Officer in January 2007. A major part of her role is to develop and disseminate good practice and support activities in smoking cessation and prevention work. This will be done through working in partnership with a wide range of organisations and service providers who have a remit for young people's health and well being.

Emma is taking the lead in many of ASH Scotland's activities and projects in relation to young people and tobacco issues and is working closely with the Alliances Manager to support the development of the STCA Youth and Tobacco Forum. This post will continue to support the development and implementation of national policy.
