Project Profile: This project aimed to research and develop a cross-culturally valid method for measuring prevalence of smoking and related behaviours in Punjabi, Urdu, Sylheti and Cantonese speaking populations.
As a result of the research conducted, questionnaires in four different languages were developed with cross-cultural face and content validity for future use in multi ethnic surveys, to enable the collection of high quality data on the use of tobacco and related substances.
