“We are very fortunate to be a member of the STCA. We have been there since the beginning and have a good relationship with them. It has opened up new channels for us to form relationships with others across the country and exchange ideas about practice”
“Meeting with other people who have overcome the same problems that you face, is how you stay sane”
“I personally have appreciated being involved in the STCA. It has made a difference and contributed to public support of the Smokefree legislation, which I see as just a first step to a healthier Scotland. UK-wise it has impacted positively, for example I went to speak at meetings in London, including Westminster, and believe I’ve positively influenced policy in England and Wales. My performance was helped by the STCA”
