“Philippa will be part of the Senior Management Team of ASH Scotland as well as leading the Information and Communications team. She will make a strong contribution to developing our campaigns to protect people from the harm caused by tobacco.”
ASH Scotland Director of Information and Communications Philippa Bonella, who has now started in her new post added:
“ASH Scotland is Scotland’s leading voluntary organisation campaigning for effective
tobacco control in Scotland and I am pleased to be joining such a successful campaigning team. It is clear that there is still a lot to be done in the field of tobacco control to reduce the 24% of deaths caused by smoking and the toll taken on the lives of thousands of others who are affected by tobacco related diseases. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and contributing to the work going on to tackle smoking in Scotland“.
