Dentristry and cessation e-learning proposal

The PATH Action Plan outlines the need for an accessible (e-learning) form of training around cessation and oral health, aimed at the whole dental team.  Initial work has been carried out previously between ASH Scotland, NES and The University of Edinburgh Post Graduate Dental School to start to scope this project.

Since this work was carried out technology has advanced and further work needs to be carried out to scope the feasibility for a web based learning package (as opposed to a CD rom version).  The three partner organisations met in May 2008 to agree a number of actions to take this forward, including ensuring links to the other two main Dental Schools in Scotland (Glasgow and Dundee).
