Scottish National Training Standards: stop-smoking support

Following the review and consultation process for the Scottish National Training Standards which took place during 2009, the final document is now available for use and can be accessed by clicking here (PDF 568kb).

Training is available from PATH which meets each standard within this document:

  • Standard A: Raising the issue of smoking (generic blended), Raising the issue of smoking during pregnancy, and Raising the issue of smoking with mental health service users
  • Standard B: Introduction to stop-smoking support
  • Standard C: Specialist stop-smoking support: theory into practice
  • Standard D: Specialist stop-smoking support: increasing your knowledge
