Taking action on smoking and health
Following our summer break, we now have new training dates for the remainder of 2022. This training course, on the adverse effect of smoking on mental health, is partly eLearning (approximately 1 hour) followed by either a 1 hour or 2 hour online session (via Zoom).

Explanation of how smoking adversely effects mental health medications
A review of the role you can play as a worker or volunteer
An introduction to the AID (ASK:INFORM:DISCUSS) very brief advice framework
Advice on helping people who want to stop smoking, including information on free support services and on electronic cigarettes
