Taking action on smoking and health
Scottish Tobacco-free Alliance is Scotland's forum for information exchange, discussion and collaboration on all aspects of tobacco control and health promotion relating to smoking. The STA gives all those working with tobacco related issues a voice to influence the development of policy and practice across Scotland.
The STA is coordinated by ASH Scotland whose staff provide much of the management expertise to:
•provide a weekly bulletin of tobacco control news and research
•arrange meetings, conferences and seminars devised by the membership
•organise fora to discuss policy and good practice in health promotion, health care and tobacco control.
