Taking action on smoking and health
Scotland has a goal of creating a tobacco-free generation, with fewer than 5% of adults smoking by 2034.
Scotland’s Charter for a Tobacco-free Generation sets out how your organisation can help achieve this.
It helps you to support the wellbeing of the people you work with and it shows your commitment to making Scotland a healthier, wealthier place to grow, learn, play and work.
View The Pledge (403KB) and download the Supporters Guide (1MB).
Signing the Charter is easy, simply enter a few details about your organisation and pledge three simple actions that your organisation will take.
You'll be joining an esteemed list of over 380 organisations who have pledged support.
The only thing we ask is that you tell us how your pledges worked out, you could win a Charter Award!
Once you have registered we will send you a welcome pack telling you about ways to get involved with supporting the Charter, communicating with other supporters and realising your pledges.
After 6 and 12 months we'll be back in touch to offer support and hear how your pledges are coming along. If you have an inspiring story you could win a Charter Award!
Contact the Charter Coordinator with any questions, firstname.lastname@example.org.
If we all work together on this, the children who are just going into primary school now can be the first generation to grow up free from the harm caused by tobacco.
